BAY CITY, MI – Representatives and business leaders from both the United States and South Korea gathered in Bay County on Wednesday, March 16 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the U.S. Korea Free Trade Agreement (KORUS) while celebrating the growth of a high-tech industry in Bay County.
U.S. Trade Representative and Ambassador Katherine Tai and South Korea’s Minister for Trade Yeo Han-koo visited two SK Siltron CSS locations in Bay County. SK Siltron CSS is a U.S. subsidiary of South Korea’s SK Group that produces semiconductor wafers that can be used to make semiconductor chips for components in electric vehicles.
